I am a huge fan of both Steve Carrell (The Office, 40 Year Old Virgin) and Tina Fey (30 Rock, Baby Momma) and when I first saw the previews of the Date Night Movie which releases on Friday April 9th, my wife and I both knew that this is a movie we are definitely going to see. The chance to see both of these great comedians working together in a film that looks genuinely creative and funny should provide a good night out for anyone who is a fan of comedies.
The movie is about a couple who when going out for a routine date night gets mistaken for some criminals and ends up in a twisted cat/mouse game where they are trying to stay alive. The endure a car chase, shootout and a showdown with an underground boss. Nothing like a little excitement to spice up a marriage that has gone a little complacent was the thinking Shawn Levy the directory of Date Night and who also directed Night at the Museum and Cheaper by the dozen, this film looks to be highly entertaining and have plenty of laughs.
I encourage my readers to watch the trailer for the movie Date Night here:
What do you think of the preview?
How many Steve Carrell and/or Tina Fey fans are going out to see this movie on opening weekend?
