So my family and I decided to spread out a Lord of the Rings marathon over two weeks with my two kids ages 6 and 3 who hadn’t seen the film yet. We watched all 3 extended versions of the film (which I own).
My family generally watches a movie or part of a movie each night to unwind together before the kids go to bed, and we decided to partake in a LoTR movie watching. This spanned for almost two weeks with my kids being engaged the whole time.
I still stand that the LoTR Trilogy stands as one of the best trilogy of films of all time, and it has been over four years since I saw all three films back to back. My kids were hooked and my three year old goes around the house screaming “My Precious” now occasionally.
