Handy Power Outlet with USB Plugs

When I travel I have so many devices that I often overwhelm the limited number of power outlets in a hotel room or even most houses that I visit.  This is why I invested in several outlet adapters and mini surge protectors over the past few months and one that I like is the Belkin Mini Surge Protector with Dual USB Charger.

This one has 3 outlets and 2 USB ports which can help charge up to 5 devices, the only problem is the USB ports can only charge phones and not tablets.  So you would just plug your tablet/notebook outlets into the A/C port and then USB ports can charge your Bluetooth earpiece plus your iPhone or Android phone.

Typically that is my setup, I have my Notebook, iPad 2 plugged into the A/C outlets (my wife’s notebook when she travels with me is the 3rd slot).  I then use the USB to charge both of our iPhone’s or 1 iPhone and my Voyager Pro Bluetooth earpiece.

For less than $12, this Dual USB Mini Surge Protector is well worth the price and gives you the ability to charge 5 devices from a single A/C outlet.

It also has a rotating plug in the back, so you can point the device in whichever way makes it more convenient to not block the other free A/C port.

It comes with 1 mini USB cable to use for Blackberry or some other phones, but overall you should have your own USB cables already.
