I am always on the go or eating in front of my computer on conference calls and sometimes I have a hard time finding even 5 minutes to start a microwave lunch.  In these instances I rely on snack or meal replacement bars and one of my favorite is the Quaker Soft Baked Bar which not only tastes great but provides fiber, protein, B-vitamins and is only 140 calories per serving.

The Cinnamon Pecan Bread is delicious as well and would work just fine as a breakfast snack if you don't have time to cook a full mean or are on the go.  However the real winner of the taste contest for me is the Banana Nut Bread bars, these are delicious either hot or cold and they are just much better than your typical breakfast or meal replacement bar.

You don't even have to take the bars out of the packaging to warm them up, you simply pop the package in the microwave for 9-12 seconds and the Quaker Soft Baked Bar softens up even more and literally melts in your mouth as you start to eat it.  Eat it with a glass of milk or almond milk and it tastes even better!

I can't drink dairy, so I enjoy them with a small glass of Almond milk myself, but my kids like having 2% milk when they get these bars.  Ironically my son's favorite breakfast bars are the Quaker oatmeal cookies with chocolate chip which is another Quaker product.

Either way, instead of eating some breakfast fast food you can have something that actually qualifies as a wholesome food when you enjoy a Quaker Soft Baked Bar as a snack or a meal replacement.

Have you had a chance to try them yet?  Which flavor is your preference?
