Justin Germino Showcases The Magic Jack

You have heard about it and seen the commercials on television, now you can see exactly what I think of The Magic Jack. I actually purchased this product about four months ago and have completely ditched my landline now and use the Magic Jack exclusively in my home in place of my land line.

Simple and easy to use, just watch my video on why I think the MagicJack is a revolutionary product that replaces the home phone in your house for a fraction of the cost:

I was assuming this worked a lot like Skype and the plug was a gimmick – so you really like?

I did replace my Cox Phone Line with the Magic Jack about 5 months ago, I use my home phone and my wireless headset with it without issues. I spend an average of 5 hours per day on conference calls for work (I telecommute) on my Magic Jack and have no issues with it. The only thing is A) you have to have a stable internet connection (I wouldn’t use it with dial up), B) your computer has to be relatively powerful (lots of RAM) as even when I open some paint programs and such I can hear stuttering in the phone calls if I do application intensive work on the computer that actually hosts the magic jack. Other than that, it has only dropped calls a handful of times in 5 months and I have had very few issues with it. The voicemail arriving by email is a pretty cool feature too.
