Fear Within

Fear within was all they said
a foretold conclusion in his head

He had no meaning and a life without point
a savior nonexistent, nobody to appoint

Fear within they screamed, they balled
Actions unstable, we were all appalled

Precious moments stolen away
From the fear within that was on display

As many of my followers know, I enjoy writing poetry.  I have been writing poems since I was probably eight or nine years old.  In fourth grade I read “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe and was hooked on poetry ever since.  My favorite poets include Mr. Poe and William Blake.  I didn’t formally study poetry, so all of my poetry is amateur in both construction and style but it what it lacks in formal composition, it makes up for in passion and emotion.

My poetry blog Wanderer Thoughts Poetry has over 650 unique poems that I wrote over the past two years.  I had recovered much of my poetry over the past 10 years, but there were hundreds of other poems lost before I decided to commit them to a blog.  I have won poetry contests, been published 3 times and often get requests to write custom poetry for people who need one for a variety of occasions.  It is my goal to create and sell my first poetry book sometime in 2010.
