Starting the Week with Sick Family

It is never fun when your kids get sick and like and like it or not when one of your kids get sick, it iwll spread to the whole family very rapidly.  Last week my oldest son came down with sore throat and fever and within three days my three year old was sick and now my wife and I have whatever our kids picked up.

Though we did receive our flu shots (not the Swine Flu) it wasn’t available in our area yet, this may be a mild version of a flu, or simply a really bad sore throat.  As it causes fevers it doesn’t appear to be a cold, but has many cold like symptoms including the sore throat, runny nose, and develops into a chest cough.

Not good going into Thanksgiving week feeling weak and yucky, but this wouldn’t be the first time the family was sick during the holidays and it won’t be the last I am sure.

Thank you, we did get flu shots but didn’t prevent us from getting it. May be the Swine flu, who knows.
