Wow! you really love your pet. We have lovebirds before in the house but sad to say we were not able to provide enough time for them that cause their death a year ago. We’re planning to have a pet dog soon.

I don’t like furniture clawed, but think its cruelty to declaw pets, so I was torn. We never declawed our cats, but we did have some scratching issues in the past. I haven’t had cats in years, I miss having one.

Hey, your dog shares his birthday with me, May 11th. But I’ll be 49 so I’m a tad bit younger. My male dog is over 13 years old and still going strong. I’ve never had a birthday party for either of my dogs but they are in the middle of everything we do every day. We arrange our living room with our cats in mind, putting their cat tree by the window for them. My dad let his cats claw up all his furniture, have the run of the house and even kept an unopened air conditioner for his one cat to lay on and enjoy clawing up the top of the box. He never got that one installed. He let three cats live in the upstairs of his double house instead of renting it out to people!
