Feeling Terrible For My Sick Toddler
|
|
It is a sad feeling when your two year old is feverish and whimpering at night, we felt so bad we tried to let our little one curl up and sleep with us, but he is so restless and just wants to goof off when not in his crib. So up most of the night at various intervals checking and comforting a sick two year old who caught his older brothers cold.
Few things are harder for parents than watching your children not feel well and wishing you could make them feel better magically, so today I took a light day at work and wound up making two trips to Walgreen’s to get a few new thermometers and some children’s Motrin and extra tissues.
I hope the little guy is better by Easter.

Sorry to hear about the little one, hope he feels better soon. Has anyone told you that you look somewhat like Keanu Reeves, I think that’s how it is spelled. I just started twitter. You sounded interesting, I like poetry myself.
I can totally relate and I hope the little guy bounces back soon. I’m having similar difficulties since yesterday we decided to wean our 2 year old off the bottle. She’s really attached to it. She didn’t go down last night until about 11pm which is way past her normal 8:30p bedtime. At one point she just whimpered: “milk, milk.” She’s got a will like a prize fighter.

I am so glad my children are old enough now to tell me exactly what hurts. I think that was always the worst part when they got sick as toddlers. Good luck to you guys, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a sick free Easter.

Thanks, so far not looking so good, he is still sick with a fever and bad cold
Never before was told that, I have been told I look like Jerry Seinfeld and Tim Allen, but never Keanu Reeves, that is too funny.
