Its a whole different culture overseas and to discover some of it would definitely help expand the mind and open it to new ways of thought. Being immersed in a different culture is definitely an experience you will remember for a lifetime. We would take day trips but never stayed overnight anywhere. That was good enough for me though, I didn't mind.
