Attention All Bloggers - Make Money With Your Blog

I am part of PayPerPost, SocialSpark, SponsoredReviews, Buy Blog Reviews and PayU2Blog, these are all sites that you can make money with your blog by doing blog posts.

All four except PayU2Blog require you to either “apply” for a post position, or qualify to get a post position and sit in a queue to get one.  When you get accepted you have 12 - 24 hours to write your post and submit it for review.  You are literally fighting thousands of other bloggers for a limited number of open slots for an opporunity.  So you have to check every few hours or you could miss a new opp and all slots be taken by others.

In addition you need a really good RealRank, AlexaRank or PageRank to even qualify for some of the high paying opportunities on PayPerPost, if you have a PR of 0, don’t expect to get any opps more than $5 - $6.50 on average.

So far in 2 months of blogging I have made about $22.00 from SocialSpark, $10.00 from PayPerPost and over $100 from PayU2Blog.

PayU2Blog is different, you sign up and submit your blog.  If accepted you will be given POST assignments, these are your dedicated assignments and you must complete them on or before the deadline or you risk not getting more assignments.  So you can’t choose your topic.

Most assignments are “Freeform” which means you can type anything you want as long as you include the “link text” somewhere in your post.  These typically pay $5 per 60 minimum word post.  Then there are “Opinion” posts which can pay more, I had one pay $12.00 and another pay $10.00.  These require specific additional instructions and often a positive review of the product.

I have this blog and Dragonblogger.com signed up for PayU2Blog and I get assignments for both, it is a great supplemental income.  They also pay so much faster than SocialSpark and PayPerPost, they pay every 2 weeks.  So you know your paydates guaranteed and you can always see how much is coming on your next paydate.  They directly pay you via paypal so you don’t have to wait for the money to go into your site account, then transfer to your paypal adding extra steps like SocialSpark and PayPerPost do.  Both of those Sites put your money in pending, then after 30 days you get your payment, but it sits in your SocialSpark or PayPerPost account until you transfer it into your PayPal account.  So literally you don’t get paid for your posts until 30-45 days after you did the posts.  Whereas PayU2Blog you always get paid for your posts within 2 weeks, unless you happen to miss the pay cycle cutoff, then you fall on the next cycle.

But if you decide to accept paid posts for your blog please follow these tips, these are General Blogger Rules.  If you want to be taken seriously as a blogger then you must have the following etiquette.

1)  Make sure you post quality content between your paid posts.  Keep a ratio of no more than 1 paid post for every 4 legitimate posts.  no more than 20% paid content or your blog will be too much a spam blog.

2)  Since many assignments in PayU2Blog are freeform, make a high quality post that just happens to have a paid link.  This way people actually enjoy and gain benefit from the post.  Don’t always write just 60 minimum posts that just go “hey check out this site”.  Write something meaningful and tie it in, be clever, disguise your paid post as a normal post.

3)  If you plug a product, do some research, visit the link find something valid to talk about.  No mindless marketing.  Be more than just a drone plug, make your post stand out from the other 500 people who were assigned the same assignment.  Be creative, be original.

All of my paid posts on all of my blogs I try to give something to the reader, something other than just the content that was paid for.   As for Sponsored Reviews and Buy Blog Reviews, I bid on a ton of stuff and have never made a dime yet from those 2 sites.

I do like SocialSpark, and PayPerPost as supplemental, but so far in my first 2 months blogging PayU2Blog is the best hands down.
